He is the first (openly) Sanguinary police officer and, over his tenure, has arrested many who threatened the peace of the city. Abram currently serves as the Lieutenant in charge of the Advanced Threat Containment Unit, a specialized police unit focused on sanguinary related crimes, and is also the official liaison to the local vampire court. In this capacity he serves as “Sheriff” in order to ensure that no one escapes punishment and that mortal and vampire law enforcement remain coordinated in their efforts to protect the city and all of its inhabitants.

Covenant: Wotanites

The Coyote

Player: Michael Lowry Lamble
Clan: N/A (Human)
Covenant: The Sentinels of the Lost
Affiliation: None
Domhnall Mac Aonduine is a historical folklorist and musicologist based out of the local university, but his accent shows he’s not from around here.  Maybe he’s Scottish?  With all sorts of vampires hanging around Lone Oak Valley, he’s been an occasional collaborator with the Sentinels of the Lost, improving historical knowledge by asking these living (sort of) primary sources.  He also does a “Songs and Stories Throughout History” series at the local library in his free time, and sort of floats around the margins of the vampire community, keeping an eye on these walking historical artifacts.

Mayor Gabriel Ward
Player: Brian Bowyer
Fame 1, Masquerade Dropper
Clan: Ausiri
Covenant: Sentinels of the Lost
Affiliation: Unofficially NOVA, with HFF sympathies
On June 17th, 1967, then-Alderman Gabriel Ward dropped the masquerade on national TV. He followed it up with a short but impassioned speech to vampire-kind about how the Masquerade hurt both vampires and mortals, and was ultimately unsustainable anyway in a world of mass media. Shortly afterwards, he won the mayoral election, and since then he’s been by all accounts a very competent, if somewhat eccentric, mayor of Lone Oak Valley. Politically, he is a very public socialist, and has been known to support many radical political positions which more or less prevent him from climbing into state or national politics.

When those who are unfamiliar with traditional vampire government are introduced to Lawrence as “The Prince’s Harpy,” they tend to assume it’s an insult based on his looks. He’s good at smoothing any misunderstandings over, though–being the first open vampire voice on the radio (and now a podcast as well) gives him a bit of an aura of awe. It’s quite open that he’s very, very old as well; “Grandpa” is another preferred name.

Phil arrived in Lone Oak Valley shortly after the fall of the Masquerade, never expecting to make it her home. But when she saw how much cleaning up there was to be done in one of the most visible vampire communities in the world, she stuck around, eventually working as Hound to make sure that Kindred followed the rules and played nice. She can also be found keeping the peace at vampire dining establishments, to make sure there is ethical consumption under the post-Masquerade. She didn’t come here to make friends, but she may learn that sometimes, the real friendship was the justice you enacted along the way.

Undead Prophet
Player: Karl Janusz
Clan: Druzhina
Covenant: Sentinels of the Lost
Affiliation: Kindred Sovereignty Estate
The Undead Prophet is a somewhat new member of the city, but has been making quite the impression on the Kindred fringe conspiracy nut community for his claims he knows how to restore the Masquerade.
