Established Kindred of Greenhaven:
- Prince “Rex”
- Player: Michael Downey
- Clan: Undeclared, Covenant: Undeclared
- Status: City 5
- The Prince has revealed very little personal information about himself. Specifically, he has not made public his Clan, Covenant, background, or even his real name. “Rex” is the moniker that he adopts most frequently so that people will have some way to refer to him besides “the Prince,” but he seems to have selected it simply because it means “King.” He does not even have Predator’s Taint, though his pale complexion, thirst for blood, and Discipline use have made it seem fairly obvious that he is a vampire. He is known to maintain a domain beneath the city’s solar power plant, though he does not like uninvited guests.
The Prince’s Policies:
1) No harming human citizens of Greenhaven, or any humans in the city.
2) Maintain the Masquerade.
3) Court: for the last few years there haven’t really been enough vampires in the city to warrant holding regular court. With the increasing population, just acknowledging new vampires began to require meetings every three months or more. Beginning with Game 1, the Prince has declared that Court will be held once a month.
- Sheriff Adam Johnson, DECEASED
- Player: Howard Cheng
- Mekhet, Carthian
- Status: City 3, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- The notoriously insular Sheriff of Greenhaven is a figure shrouded in mystery. Known primarily for an utterly unrelenting determination to get to the bottom of every investigation he participates in, Adam is the subject of many sometimes-disturbing rumors. Despite his reputation, those who know him insist that Adam is, at heart, altruistic to a fault. Despite his gruff exterior, Kindred find that Adam is willing to assist in any number of tasks, from the mundane to the staggering, no matter how apparently pointless they seen. It is this powerful sense of selflessness that motivated Adam to first take on the mantle of Sheriff.
Adam upholds the duties of his position with superhuman intensity and will not hesitate to stand in front of a bullet even for vampires he dislikes. He is relatively forgiving of moderate offenses, reminding Kindred that, in a post-apocalyptic society, one shouldn’t sweat the small stuff, but when major threats hang over the fledging society of Greenhaven, he has been known to go entire weeks sleepless. Thus, the Kindred of the city rest soundly, knowing that their Sheriff would rather work himself to the bone than let a single crime go unavenged. (Deceased as of Game 3.) - Quote: “I never asked for this.”
- Deputy Arienette Kelly Callaghan
- Player: Stacy V.
- Gangrel, Lancea Sanctum
- Status: City 2, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Arienette has been a member of Greenhaven for quite a long time. She arrived with the first wave of newcomers, those who happened to have been in close proximity to Greenhaven after the disaster. As appearances go, there isn’t much to say (aside from glorious auburn locks of hair that perhaps were too glorious to be her own). As a matter of fact, when her actual looks are concerned, she’s rather on the homely side of things. But what she lacks in physical attractiveness, Arienette makes up with good taste in clothing, which is quite a feat considering the circumstances she has to live under. Although she might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, Arienette is rather of a sweet disposition, willing to offer a shoulder to cry on. Yet when she takes offense to someone, she is bound to hold a grudge. Arienette is dutiful and takes her position as a Deputy seriously. In addition, she is known to be a very active member of Lancea Sanctum.
- Quote: “Come again? I didn’t quite get that, sugarplum.”
- The Most Reverend Michael D. Gorz, Hound, Bishop, and Gangrel Priscus of Greenhaven
- Player: Kyle Bergan
- Gangrel, Lancea Sanctum
- Status: City 2, Covenant 3, Clan 1
- The Prince’s faithful Hound, His Grace finds that Prince Rex’s views of transgressions match his own theology, and suffers no qualms about enforcement. Despite the more brutal aspects of his secular office, Bishop Gorz has become more personable since arriving in Greenhaven, though no one’s Predator’s Taint seems greater than his. He prefers to lead the Sanctified of Greenhaven by deed more often than by sermon, though he is capable at both. When formal vestments are not required of him, the Hound is most often seen in jeans and flannel, walking the periphery of the Domain.Bishop Gorz welcomes all faithful kindred to Midnight Mass and other prayer services, and is willing to hear Confession. Those kindred who wish to become Sanctified are welcome to discuss the matter with His Grace or one of the other Priests in the Diocese. (Gangrel Priscus as of Game 3.)
- Dr. Allan Roberts, Prince’s Harpy
- Player: Gary Bland
- Ventrue, Invictus
- Status: City 2, Covenant 3, Clan 1
- An energetic and eccentric Harpy, Dr. Roberts is rarely seen without his lab coat and other peripherals. He owns both Allan’s Salvage and Supplies and The Gallows Tavern, which cater primarily to salvagers, mortal and vampire alike, as they come and go to and from the city. He believes that vampires in the city, in accordance with the Prince’s first rule, should try to aid the mortals (although not necessarily without benefit to themselves). His shop deals not only with supplies and salvage, but also information and he has a keen ear for kindred deeds and misdeeds, as well as profitable locations to salvage. The salvage is mostly either donated to the city or used in experiments. He has plenty of spare scientific equipment and is willing to lend it to any kindred with a worthy scientific cause.
- Quote: “You know, if it wasn’t for the mortals in our little city of Greenhaven, the Branded would simply come and kill us in our sleep.” [said with a smile]
- Dr. Andrea Cook, Keeper of Elysium
- Player: Sarah DeSoto
- Status: City 3, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- Priscus Zoey Amneris
- Player: Jessica “Wizera” Puller
- Julii, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 2, Covenant 3, Clan 1
- Primogen Zoey Amneris arrived in Greenhaven about three years ago, after serving as Crone primogen in Seattle. She very quickly integrated herself into the existing Crone presence, stepping up into the role of primogen out of a desire to serve. Since then, she’s been the voice of the Crone. Additionally, Zoey has garnered a reputation as being a voice of reason among the Kindred. She often volunteers to mediate disputes between other members of the city, regardless of covenant, status, or clan. Little else is said of this teenaged Kindred. When not engaged in official business, she is quiet, serene, and observant. Her features suggest a mixed racial heritage and she is quite beautiful. (Julii Priscus and retired as Circle of the Crone Primogen as of Game 3.)
- Quote: “Have you tried the lively art of conversation?”
- Primogen Henry Drummond
- Player: Philip Kelley
- Ventrue, Lancae Sanctum
- Status: City 4, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- Henry made his way to Greenhaven from the American Southwest when the bombs fell, arriving two years ago at the head of a very small herd of livestock, cattle and horses that he helps keep near the outskirts of Greenhaven. He helps with the occasional foraging trip, searching (often successfully) for survivors “regardless of the number o’ legs they got”. Now a member of the Lance, he talks little of his life before the bombs fell.
- Quote: “Carin’ for the survivors, healin’ and growin’ back to what we had beforehand, that’s about all that matters any more.”
- Seneschal Markane Wen-Li
- Player: Jeffrey Xu
- Ventrue, Invictus
- Status: City 3, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- Markane is a stately Kindred, seemingly desperate to keep alive the trappings of high civilization even in the post-apocalypse. He expresses great interest in rebuilding society and is willing to leverage his fortune toward projects that improve Greenhaven and bring it closer to pre-apocalypse civilization. While the exacting details of the nuclear war are unknown to him, as to everyone else, he can be prodded to share his knowledge of nuclear weapons strategy, and he shows a keen interest in anything that would help reveal the mysteries of just what happened those years ago… (Promoted to Seneschal and retired as Invictus Primogen as of Game 3.)
- Priscus “Charlie”
- Player: Melzer
- Daeva, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 2, Covenant 5, Clan 1
- The Hierophant is known as “Charles” or “Charlie” in Vampiric circles, since he refuses to say or write his real name (Κάλχασ) in anything other than the original Greek. Like most old Kindred, he often confuses past with present. Unlike most Kindred, he also confuses past with future. He claims to have a “special relationship” with the Fates, through which they grant him knowledge of the future. While his sanity may be questionable, his advice regarding the future is always sound. (Daeva Priscus as of Game 3.)
- Quote: “Beware, young one. Not all prophecies are profitable.”
- Priscus Τειρεσία ["Teresa"]
- Player: M. Alan Thomas II
- Mekhet, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 2, Covenant 4, Clan 1
- The mad, blind, chthonic oracle of the Crone. She’s quiet and usually waits for people to speak to her before conversing. Mortals, if they’ve seen her or heard of the figure in flowing white who wanders the city at night, think of her as an esteemed symbol of their religion or a ghost or a rumor or “that crazy blind girl in an oversized dress,” depending. (Mekhet Priscus as of Game 3.)
- Quote: “Perhaps this city is just a dream.”
- Jacob Domingus
- Player: Steve Purri
- Mekhet, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Jacob is a tall, dark, and taciturn man. His outward manner is frightening and imposing; it is best not to cross him alone on a dark street.
- Quote: “I too shall lie in the dust when I am dead, but now let me win noble renown.”
- Delphine LaLaurie
- Player: Rachel Maes
- Nosferatu, Lancea Sanctum
- Status: City 2, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- Delphine is a small blonde woman with an eerie presence, despite her kind and gentle face.
- Quote: “Damnation can be closely compared to the embrace in both pain and beauty. Redemption is much like our Savior’s agonies before he was put on the Cross. The pain is brutal, the moment is fleeting, but the reward that awaits can only be known by God.”
- Sheriff Norma Layton
- Player: Natalia Alvarez
- Mekhet, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 2, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- The local biologist, Norma often conducts field studies to better understand the organisms living around Greenhaven. She often collaborates with Dr. Roberts , being kindred scientists, sometimes traveling outside the city to observe the creatures living in the post-apocalyptic environment. Although she works out of her lab half of the time, she retains a sense of elegance, and wishes everyone else could do so, too. (Promoted to Sheriff as of Game 3.)
- Ellen Ashman
- Player: Alex Tilley
- Nosferatu, Lancea Sanctum
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Ellen is a short woman with dark brown hair and eyes. She is friendly with most of the Kindred in the city, although her smile gives the unsettling impression that she’s thinking of all the ways she can bring pain to the person in front of her. However she has no tolerance for jokes and becomes quite agitated when one is played. Since the apocalypse she has gotten better at controlling her temper, however every now and again she will lose control.
- “Entity”
- Player: Emery Goss
- Nosferatu, Ordo Dracul
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- His real name is Trask, but he insists on being refered to as “Entity” in public, especially in the presence of mortals. Much of his face is unsettlingly forgettable, but you could still recognize him wearing a distinctive hooded black cloak. He runs the gladiator arena a little bit outside of Greenhaven with his partner Roberto Marquez (NPC) and can sometimes be found there. Around Greenhaven there are several other ludi (gladiator schools), but their ludus provides the most spectacular gladiators. Other kindred are always welcome at the arena and Trask is always interested in things that involve the mortal society of Greenhaven.
- Quote: “You can either embrace violence, or let it consume you.”
- Kallie Sunshine, Priscus Harpy
- Player: Carly Ho
- Daeva, Carthian Movement
- Status: City 2, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Kallie’s impossible to miss with her bright pink hair, bright blue scooter and appropriately sunny demeanor. She’s outgoing, personable, knows all the hot gossip, and throws the best parties in Greenhaven (and possibly the entire world). After all, the apocalypse doesn’t mean you have to be mopey all the time! She’s also known to tell people interesting things she’s heard–for a price, of course, since a girl’s got to be able to pay her bills.
- Quote: “You’re allergic to sunlight, not fun. The end of the world as we know it doesn’t mean we can’t still have a good time!”
- Axe Gallows
- Player: Jonathon Schwarzbauer
- Nosferatu, Invictus
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- A hulking, gruff, and imposing older man who looms over the patrons of his bar, The Gallows Tavern, and just about anyone else for that matter. A grim and nightmarish figure at over 7 feet and 300 pounds, it’s no wonder the city’s Invictus have recruited him as their chief enforcer, at beck and call of both clan and, when necessary, the city. Ax’s life has quieted down somewhat since arriving in Greenhaven, which isn’t really saying much as his favorite pastime seems to be regaling his friends and patrons with over-the-top and quite frankly ludicrous stories of his adventures, which seem at most half true to the majority. But then again, there are old whispers of a bogeyman among the wastes… and one thing is for certain: Ax Gallows has never lost a fight.
- Quote: “An’ that’s how I killed the haunted werewolf. What a beast of a way to die. You could say he never had a ghost of a chance.”
- Shannon O’Toole
- Player: Meg Bullock
- Mekhet, Circle of the Crone
- Status: City 2, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Shannon is a slightly built woman with bright red hair, vivid green eyes, and translucently pale skin. She displays a pronounced preference for the company of women, and makes her services of stealth and discretion available for a price. She speaks with an Irish accent [Player note: that I will not be trying to do!] when it’s necessary, and treats all authority figures with polite wariness.
- Quote: “I’ve little time for shenanigans. Name your contract and I’ll tell you the price.”
- Evelyn Hart
- Player: Natalie Bowling
- Status: City 1, Covenant 3, Clan 1
- Dr. Mic O’Callaghan
- Player: Sean Chen
- Ventrue, Ordo Dracul
- Status: City 1, Covenant 3, Clan 1
- In his mortal time, Dr. Mic O’Callaghan was a famous scientist, a field-leading senescence expert, but has since fallen to quiet academia. An increasing obsession with the evolutionary “superiority” of lobsters gradually undermined the prestige he attained through his original ground-breaking work, but he has nevertheless persisted in his research in his unlife. Hoping to find the missing link to perfect his work, Mic O’Callaghan and his lobsters set out for California after the war. He has a made a home in Greenhaven, where he currently does research with the Ordo Dracul.
- Quote: “Between vampires and lobsters, both are essentially immortal, but one immolates in sunlight and the other doesn’t. Which do you think is the better adapted organism?”
- Clocks
- Player: John Kohn
- Status: City 1
- Mane
- Player: Matt Faliszek
- Julii, Legion
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Mane is the mysterious leader of a group of raiders encamped on the highway between Greenhaven and San Francisco. This group, who call themselves the Legion, have barricaded the main overpass, and are charging a toll for safe use of the roadway. Their interest, and Mane’s goals, are as of yet unclear.
- Quote: “You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigor of other, more righteous souls. You are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic; you take and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come.”
- Camille Song
- Player: Eileen
- Mekhet, Ordo Dracul
- Status: City 1, Covenant 1, Clan 1
- Primogen Sophie Alverny
- Player: Isa
- Nosferatu, Invictus
- Status: City 2, Covenant 2, Clan 1
- Sophie has just arrived in Greenhaven, and, aside from the basic goal of survival, is looking to gain some status in the city. She doesn’t believe in causing a scene in public and tries to exhibit class and good taste, though she values the use of less polite behavior when it would be advantageous. While she can be a bit single-minded and standoffish, she does have a more social side and enjoys a good party, particularly if it involves a chance to get all dressed up and maybe catch some interesting gossip. (Invictus Primogen as of Game 3.)
- Quote: “Being undead doesn’t mean I don’t deserve to enjoy the finer things in life.”
