Mainstage Chronicle

This year, test your survival skills in the wastelands of Post-Apocalyptic California. The bombs have come and gone, and you’ve survived. But what secrets does Greenhaven hold, amidst the ruins and raiders?

The year is 2019.  Approximately seven years ago, the modern world descended into full-scale nuclear war. Within hours, all major cities were reduced to rubble. Within days, even isolated cities were affected, directly or indirectly. Within weeks, nearly every city still standing was either a ghost town or a war-zone, as those remaining fought each other for supplies to survive.

After a few months, things began to settle slightly. Shanty towns — some built out of the shells of pre-war cities — and caravans began to spring up in the wastelands, as people banded together to survive. As travel and communication recommenced, word began to spread of a city on the Pacific coast, known to those who lived there as Greenhaven. A verdant paradise amidst the destruction, no one could explain its presence, but few questioned the blessing. And as the news traveled farther, more and more people flocked to the lush city, seeking refuge from the dangerous wastelands just beyond its thriving borders.

Of course, where the human herd gathers, vampires will follow, and before long there was a substantial Kindred population lurking in the shadows of Greenhaven, rife with all the political squabbling these things always entail. Life (and unlife) finally seemed to be getting back to normal.

With things stabilizing, however, people began finding time to wonder: What caused the war? Why were so many unpopulated areas bombed? Where did Greenhaven come from?

All good questions to ask.
